My Journey from Feeling Stuck to Finding Flow

I would have felt totally out of step. I was tired of energy, my head was constantly whirling, and it seemed that I was mereing the circus. I have done all the caffeine energizers, workouts, and so on, yet nothing addressed that inner sense of unbalance. I could not discover it until I accidentally learned about the chakra yoga positions practiced in ancient times.
This was not a mere trend in the fitness industry but a focused program of overall health. Today in this instructional guide, I would like to take you through the magical action of these particular poses and how to specifically use them to unlock and balance the seven major energy centers within the body. You are preparing to be not stagnant.
What Are Chakras, Really? A Simple Explanation
Before we delve into the yoga poses in the chakra, it is important to get one thing straight: what are these so-called chakras that everybody is talking about? Consider them as power stations within your body. Chakra in Sanskrit translates to wheel, and that is exactly what they are: spinning wheels of energy that run down your spine, starting at the bottom and culminating on the top of your head. Both of them control certain spheres of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Having a blocked or derailed chakra may either be felt physically or emotionally. The aim of the chakra yoga is not some mystical, inaccessible notion; it is a means of accessing these centers of energy and removing the obstructions and returning to your natural state of being full of life and balance.
The 7 Chakras and their Yoga Postures: A step by step Guide.
Here we come to fine stuff. The chakras are also sensitive to particular motions, will and, as a matter of fact, yoga asanas. This is your work in progress guide in handling all of them.
Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Your Security Level.
Location: Base of the spine
What it controls: Basic needs, stability, safety and survival.
When you can’t get it: You are anxious, insecure or financially stressed.
Powerful Poses:
Mountain Pose (Tadasana): this is your support. Bend straight, feet down to the ground. Have a sense of being at one with the ground. Every practice I begin here is to establish a firm background.
Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I): The pose of stability and power. That profound sinks you as you gain the courage to be safe and secure in your own skin.
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Your Creativity & Pleasure Center.
Location: below the navel, approximately two inches below the abdomen.
When it is blocked: You are creatively stifled, emotionally numb or low libido.
Powerful Poses:
Hip Openers such as Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana): Hips are the repository of our emotions. It is so liberating to open them with such deep bends as Pigeon. It is my resort upon release of pent-up feelings.
Goddess Pose ( Utkata Konasana): The squat pose with the wide legs opens the hips and the groin and activates the creative and sensual energy of the chakra located in the sacrum.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Your Center of Personal Power.
Position: Gastric area in the upper abdomen.
What it controls: Self-esteem, confidence, and personal power.
When it is blocked: You have a problem of indecisions, low self esteem, and a sense of control.
Powerful Poses:
Boat Pose (Navasana): This is the final core strengthener. It lights your inner fire, developing mental and physical stamina. I am literally feeling my confidence build when I am in this pose.
Warrior III (Virabhadrasana III): A posture of full concentration and stability, warrior III requires you to utilize your power and energy resources, which directly heats the solar plexus.
Chakra of the Heart (Anahata) – Compassion and Love.
Location: Center of the chest
What it controls: Love, joy, compassion and inner peace.
When blocked: You experience grief, jealousy, or experience difficulty relating with other people.
Powerful Poses:
Camel Pose (Ustrasana): This is an intense backbend which physically opens up the heart space and the whole front of the chest. It may be exposed, yet it is extremely strong in getting rid of hoarded heartbreak.
Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana): A weaker heart, Cobra is ideal to build up a feeling of self-love and empathy towards others.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Your Truth
by Voice.
Location: Throat
What it regulates: Communication, self-expression and truth.
Blocked: You are not able to speak your mind, you are scared of being judged, or feel like it is misunderstood.
Powerful Poses:
Fish Pose (Matsyasana): This is an opening pose that stretches the neck and opens the chest area where we literally feel like we are holding back on words.
Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana): The pose activates the throat chakra by pressing the chin to the chest, clearing off any blockages and stimulating to share truth.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Your Intuition Seat.
Location: The location lies between the eyebrows.
What it controls: Intuition, imagination and wisdom.
At its blocked point: You are becoming ineffective or insensitive to your intuition or too dependent on reason.
Powerful Poses:
Child’s Pose (Balasana): This is a relaxing position, and the forehead is directly touching the mat, which activates the third eye. I rely on it to silence my mind and tune to my inner voice.
Dolphin Pose: A relative of Downward Dog, Dolphin works the shoulders and the arms as the head is in a way that promotes blood flow to the head which is what calms the mind and opens the eyes.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Your Relationship with the Universe.
Location: Top of the head
What is under its control: Spiritual relationship, illumination and universal awareness.
When it is clogged You are out of touch with the spirit, cynical or lonely.
Powerful Poses:
Headstand (Sirsasana): The king of postures turns the blood and energy flow upside down, directly focused on the crown of the head and creating the feeling of spirituality and ecstasy.
Corpse Pose (Savasana): Do not undervalue the power of just lying down. In ultimate relaxation, you incorporate the effort that you have made and open to universal peace and unity.
